Collaboration was certainly kept in mind during the planning and execution of Axiom Consulting Partners. The client’s goal was to encourage employees to bring meetings out of their offices, providing several options for meeting areas depending on what was preferred or needed. The ceilings were strategically designed with punch openings, mirroring the transition on the floor with a different finish. Wall heights were lowered in these areas to create the illusion of containers within a space, but the visual eye would still notice a larger space beyond. Topography within the interiors helped put this idea into play with the use of different sized areas, heights in seating, countertops, etc. A neutral, yet moody palette was created to complete the space – blending materials and textures such as wood, textural carpet, leathers, and concrete.
