AVA Little Tokyo is a mixed-use community consisting of 280 units within two buildings on the corner of Los Angeles and 2nd Street in the Little Tokyo district of Los Angeles. The two buildings have retail on the ground level and five levels of residential units over a three level structured parking garage. The AVA buildings are designed with references to Japan’s pop culture, with edgy colors and an urban vibe, while still fitting into the growing Little Tokyo community. The rich amenity spaces are spread throughout both buildings, driven by the best location or adjacencies and giving residents multiple opportunities to mingle.
The larger B building contains the leasing lounge, two-story fitness center, two outdoor courtyards, pool, spa, and a chill lounge. Building A holds the street corner with a public plaza, over 13,000 SF of retail, and a very visible sixth floor rooftop deck.
The project is designed with Avalon’s AVA brand appealing to a younger demographic. Most floor plans are smaller in size and include sliding doors and liner “gear walls” that can be customized for specific storage needs.
