Aurora Residences is an innovative residential proposal located in Voula, a coastal suburb in the southern part of Athens. The architectural composition unfolds along the contours of the site, translating its gentle curves into the built form and creating a fluid morphology.
Planted balconies and green roofs integrate the natural element into the design, establishing a direct dialogue with the surrounding landscape. Meanwhile, the presence of water—both in communal and private areas—together with the use of natural textures, enhances the sense of harmony and flow.
Light plays a defining role in the design of the residences. The glass façades and the perforations on the balconies allow natural light to diffuse throughout the building, transforming the atmosphere during the day.
Aurora Residences expresses a new form of urban living in the southern sector of Athens, where nature becomes part of everyday life, proposing a way of living that places the natural world back at the heart of habitation.
