Standing at eight storeys high and 1,350 square metres per floor, Audi Singapore's newly unveiled flagship store is the first ever high-rise Audi Centre as well as the largest Audi showroom in Southeast Asia.
The one-stop complex displays as many as 35 of Audi's latest models in the showrooms on the 2nd and 4th floors, where the cars are arranged in a "power curve" and appear as if they are zooming by on a racetrack. A specially designed lift carries cars to the servicing workshop that spans from the 5th to the 7th floor while the offices reside on the building's top level. Within the three basement floors are an Audi Cafe, a Quattro shop, a customer waiting lounge, reception areas as well as a car park.
The design concept localises the international Audi Central template without compromising its well-established corporate identity. While space constraints resulted in the building’s uncharacteristic semi-circular shape, Audi’s signature look is evident in elements such as the building’s curved walls. The façade is clad in aluminum with hexagonal cutouts forming a honeycomb pattern, while cantilevered upper floors coupled with the lower floors’ full-length glass windows make the building appear to float off the ground, adding a touch of futuristic sophistication to the renowned Audi brand.
Site-wise, despite its close proximity to the Mass Transit System (MRT) train track, the Audi Centre takes full advantage of numerous levels of vantage points – the visual engagement at street level, the surrounding high-rise residential buildings and even the MRT viaduct level – and presents the Audi brand at the apex of the road leading to the well-established strip of car dealerships in Singapore.
With its unique features and deliberate site planning, Audi Centre Singapore is built for the ultimate Audi experience.
