The plot located in Wyry is in close proximity to a provincial road with high traffic intensity. Another significant drawback is the location of two restaurant-hotel buildings on the opposite side of the access road, which are oriented towards hosting various events. The design of the single-family house in Wyry is an attempt to address these unfavorable conditions on the plot. The main design concept was to shape the function and form of the house in such a way as to minimize the adverse impact of external factors on the residents' comfort of living, such as noise generated by the provincial road and the restaurants.
To achieve this, the nighttime zone and other functional areas were enclosed in white cuboid structures, strategically positioned on the plot to surround the daytime living area located at the center of the house. Their arrangement and orientation ensure better acoustic conditions, complete isolation from noisy neighbors, and open various house functions to the garden.
