Obscura collaborated with AT&T and the Dallas Cowboys to design and fabricate an in-stadium media experience. The nexus of the platform Obscura designed, produced, and installed is the AT&T LiveFX Board, a fan-responsive LED video display with 40 robotic, mirrored louvers that independently rotate 360' to create choreographed motion. Spanning 130 feet, above the concourse in the north end zone, the LiveFX Board is designed to interact with fans' mobile devices. At 4,000 pixels wide, the AT&T LiveFX Board is the highest resolution board in the stadium. Obscura's innovations also include the AT&T Stadium App, which provides a seamless journey from home to stadium and back and includes features like cheering, polling, and posting pictures. Fans also connect to the AT&T LiveFX Board via the AT&T Stadium App, called on at key moments to participate in an experience dubbed 'Unite This House. AT&T added even more capacity to the cellular network inside the stadium since last season. In total, cellular network capacity has increased by more than 50 percent at AT&T Stadium from last summer to the 2014 regular season opener. Thanks to that network strength, the AT&T LiveFX Board is the first stadium LED display built to respond directly to fans. When prompted by the display and a push notification from the app, fans will be asked to opt in. With the AT&T app, fans profile photos rapidly appear on the louvered display and other video boards inside AT&T Stadium and their devices will light up with a strobe they can flash in unison with other fans. At the stadium entrances are four Immersive Columns, multitouch displays that offer interactive showcases of the players and cheerleaders. The AT&T Stadium Experience ruly mobilizes fans.
