Alteration
and refurbishment of an Atrium House built in the 60th.
The charm of the residential
building which opens to the inner court is being maintained and, due to generous windows, the interior and outside area overlap. Built-in
furniture accentuates the length of the rooms and supports fluent transition
effects. Transparent glass panels and walls connect the ground floor to the
basement and contribute daylight. The concept of minimal
interior design with integrated and partially concealed features is clearly noticeable here: A fireplace is inserted in the 10 meter long kitchen board,
the TV-set is flushed with the adjacent panel, the kitchen devices are hidden behind
frontpanels and in the bathroom storage is provided in a wooden panel wall.
Indirect lighting is
combinded with direct light purposefully and creates a pleasant atmosphere.
