Focusing on the interior programming, space planning and design, EC3’s largest built project for Atlassian, an Australian software company that develops products for software developers, project managers and other software development teams.
Completed in December 2020, Atlassian’s marketing offices in San Francisco draw from EC3’s experience and sensitivity in gallery design to create inspiring and flexible workspace. At 36,000 SF and located within an existing building, the project accommodates a diversity of uses beyond just the workplace, including communal spaces, a cafeteria, meeting rooms and a creative studio. As a flexible space designed for operations, creative planning and design promotes daily efficiencies for current and future workplaces with the flexibility to change with function-specific furniture and technology.
This project is considered a new benchmark for Atlassian’s future global workspaces. Throughout the design and construction process, EC3 coordinated with a large team of consultants to ensure the technological and acoustical performance successfully fulfilled Atlassian’s state-of-the- art specifications. Constructed during the pandemic, EC3 maintained frequent remote communications with the construction team to ensure the execution met the design intent and stayed on schedule.
