The idyllic shores of the Greek Coastline hold a particular charm for travelers seeking sun, sand, and serenity. Nestled within walking distance of the picturesque Toroni beach in Chalkidiki, Greece, the Atlantis Suites chronicles the transformation of a once-dated building into a modern, minimalist boutique hotel. This captivating renovation breathes new life into the structure, creating a luxurious space that seamlessly blends contemporary design with a warm, inviting atmosphere.
Tailored Layouts for Maximum Comfort
The project's core focus revolved around optimizing the limited space of 450sqm into a boutique hotel boasting 30 thoughtfully designed rooms. Catering to a variety of needs, the hotel offers four distinct room types: studios, apartments, and suites, each catering to a unique guest experience.
Overcoming Spatial Constraints
The design masterfully navigates the challenge of maximizing space and functionality within each room, ensuring a comfortable and stylish experience despite the limitations. The pre-existing rooms, particularly the bathrooms, presented a significant spatial constraint. To overcome this, the washbasin was cleverly relocated, creating more space for essential amenities such as a shower and water closet. This liberated space was then utilized for extra storage for enhanced functionality. Additionally, the strategic use of open cabinets with sleek metal and timber elements offered practical storage solutions while maintaining an uncluttered visual appeal.
