The project, to be built in several stages, favored the development of a public space square as mortar of the buildings that define its edge. It is a square surrounded by elements that contain two buildings (classrooms and open theater) and a long canopy. The square and the ensemble of buildings are developed on a relative high level in relation with a busy and noisy street.
The classroom building has a ramp-balcony overlooking the square below connecting classrooms that are below with those on the top level.
The steps of the outdoor theater are an extension of the square in its inside; in this way, even without practices or events, the theater provides the space with additional shadowed seats, picking up the elements of the stage. A great acoustics curtain ends up closing the theater if in function. The opening of the theater pursues the will of being linked to the public space and not become an autonomous and autistic piece in its environment.
The ensemble dominates the public spatiality; the ramp-balcony classroom building and the stands of the theater are essential parts of the square and its canopy.
