Astalak Villa is located in Lavasan province, a mountainous area near Tehran where people usually spend their weekends there. The main character of this site is the plunge it has and panoramic view toward the scenes around.
The main role of the architects was to fully match the existing limitations and situations to what the client dreamed of his personal villa.
A Villa with large spaces and wide terraces all looking,to various landscapes around.
This villa was planned to be in four stories. The first floor was dedicated to general use and spaces such as parking, mechanical room, electrical room, storage.
The main entrance and lobby were located at the second floor, besides the pool, gym, are all in this floor as well. The third floor is the place where the dining room, living room, kitchen are all designed together. It is in this floor that you can pass a suspense bridge to connect the large-open terrace with panoramic view at this level.
An elevator and staircase are connecting the different spaces of this villa to the fourth floor, where there are four fully furnished bedrooms, a kitchenette and private terraces for each space in it.
The main concept was to rotate the stories in a way to create open and semi-open spaces with different characters according to the activities inside. This rotation has not only formed a unique mass for this building, but also has matched the natural slopes, tilts and limitations of the site.
