HED’s relationship with Assurance dates back to 2003 when we designed their 54,000 SF headquarters in Schaumburg. In 2018 when Assurance’s lease in Schaumburg was up, they capitalized on the opportunity to find a new space. HED stepped in to help them realize a new headquarters with a focus on an activity-based environment with more shared amenities and more cross collaboration amongst agents serving different industries. Using one of their brand tenets of “Happy Employees = Happy Clients”, HED envisioned a space where the employees are at the heart of the design.
