The challenge - bring together ASICS’ office and warehouse staff in a cost-effective Oceania head office and showroom, showcasing their cutting-edge sports technology and heritage, in line with international corporate guidelines.
The high-energy design uses sport technology and movement themes that link the front-of-house retail showroom and reception, with workspaces and a staff recreation area. Dynamic wall graphics and sport flooring – including basketball courts and running track materials – bring the ASICS life to the workspace culture.
The new facilities incorporate two sales areas including ASICS sports gear and the heritage brand Onitsuka Tiger which captures the look and feel of Japanese street style.
Office and open plan workstations are flanked by communal breakout space, gym with WiiFit room and table tennis, and informal meeting spaces over two levels.
The integrated fitouts deliver a dynamic work environment and highlights ASICS’ world leadership in shoe technology, housing all ASICS staff in budget-conscious facilities that reflect ASICS visually and physically.
The new facilities have demonstrably improved effectiveness and staff contact time while reducing evident sick leave.
WMK has rolled out ASICS’s new office facilities in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Perth.
