Perez provided design services for renovation of a 23,000 SF existing building, and a 32,000 SF addition to this government complex in Ascension Parish, Louisiana. The addition included courtrooms and public offices for ten government agencies, including the Ascension Parish Judicial Department, Sheriff’s Department, and the Office of Emergency Preparedness. Design for the addition augmented the existing building’s L- shape to create a new U- shape, and formed a courtyard to physically and visually link the old and new parts of the facility.
