The Artistry Boutique in Beijing is
the first flagship store of its kind in the world, under the Artistry
Brand. The concept embraces the
creation of space by enticing the four senses of sight, smell, touch, and
sound. The design creates a
definitive image for the brand as well as develops Artistry's luxury appeal to
a wide market of consumers. Three
visually recognizable pod structures are placed in a strategic manner according
to a specific program adjacency to create a powerful and memorable retail
experience. Each pod identifies a
critical program element relating to the brand that helps to express a story
and spatial flow within the small, yet cozy environment. The goal of the design was to establish
a formal metaphor that embodies the brand's image for the future while
simultaneously creating a timeless beauty that Artistry could build upon in
upcoming stores launched across Asia.
