Art galleries come with their own string of challenges attached. Especially when renovating a fifty year old bungalow to comfortably and aesthetically accommodate an eclectic range of art. The structure was designed with enhanced security, essential for works of art, that will inevitably arrive from touring exhibitions. Temperature and humidity control systems, life safety and fire safety systems were all critical elements that were incorporated into the design and required additional knowledge and superior execution to maintain the safety of the art-work as well as the comfort of staff and patrons
