Art Gallery
The main conception involves forming public space by the position of straight forms of the relief. Also maintaining of given motives in a public parking zone. The whole building is divided into two main volumes. There are classrooms, workshops and office rooms in the first one. The second one consists of entrance lobbies and display areas. All mechanical, storage and engineering rooms are on a basement level.
The main building materials involved in the project are concrete, natural stone, granite. All materials have light shades that chime in with each other and surrounding buildings. Vertical and horizontal laths of equal profiles from south and west sides are used of as sun protection for providing comfortable stay especially at summer time. The territory has a significant drop in a north - south direction. The volume of the building has straight outlines.
