“Aromas” is located in Lomas de Chapultepec, one of the most important residential and commercial areas in Mexico City.
Inside the venue, the architectural proposal melds friendly into the context in a simple, neat and fluid way. This is achieved by the use of neutral materials, such as white tile, polished basalt, wooden furring, polished concrete and eye-catching decoration.
On the first level, people can enjoy the exhibition and sale of products such as wine, mescal and Mexican handicraft, which are gracefully exposed over wooden shelving that in combination with the unique exploded wooden furring, results in a soothing mix of homelike and contemporary environments.
The atmosphere and services experienced at the second level differ completely from those of the first´s, but surely enough, are equally enriching. Here, you can enjoy the haute cuisine offered by the establishment in the refreshing open spaces that the great wide terrace provides. The terrace, further provides with an intimate and familiar feel, granted by the divided wooden shutters present in it, the planters surrounding the area as well as the wooden beams in the ceiling that fill the terrace with an almost hypnotic light and shadow projections. Food production can be enjoyed by the clientele on both levels, rendering the kitchen with a crucial role for the architectural proposal.

Ubicada en Lomas de Chapultepec, una de las zonas residenciales y comerciales más importantes de la Ciudad de México.
Dentro del local comercial, la propuesta se integra al contexto con una simpleza y pulcritud de materiales en un tono neutro, como lo son el azulejo blanco, basalto pulido y cemento pulido, así como en elementos decorativos.
En la planta baja, el usuario puede disfrutar de la exhibición y venta de productos como vinos, mezcales y artesanías expuestos en estantes hechos a base de tarimas de madera que se combinan con el despiece único del lambrín de madera, generando una mezcla entre lo hogareño y lo contemporáneo. La experiencia vivida en el primer nivel es distinta pero igualmente enriquecedora, en él, se puede disfrutar de la alta gastronomía en una amplia terraza para comensales dividida por shutters de madera, rodeada de jardineras y con un juego de luz y sombra que provocan las vigas de madera del techo, creando así un espacio con un ambiente íntimo y familiar. En ambos niveles, la producción de alimentos es visible para el usuario, haciendo de la cocina un punto clave del proyecto arquitectónico.
