The Arkansas Foodbank is a cornerstone of hunger relief that acquires and distributes, through local and national partnerships, large quantities of food and other resources to hungry people. This is a new food distribution facility for more than 30 Central Arkansas Counties. This facility doubled their capacity for food storage and office space and will allow the AR Foodbank to eventually distribute around 25 million pounds of food to over 300 agencies. A urban garden was also established onsite to grow food and to raise awareness of hunger needs in our area. The facility was funded through a grant with the Donald W. Reynolds Foundation.
