Story of a family house.
Family is a primary structural element of our human society which needs a HOME. In my vision this HOME has to be able to follow a dynamical processes of growth, mobility and transformation of needs. Our modular systems are capable to react fast to the changes that life brings.
When house follows family / life cycle.
Ark-shelter family houses respond to the family needs. When the family is growing, the house follows with adding new modules with extra bedrooms. If a family has to change the location and move to another city due to any life circumstances, at least they can take their Ark-house with them. Modules can be easily detached from each other transported on trucks and again installed together. Once the family circle get's complete and children are moving out. Parents don't need to maintain a huge house, the house can be divided into 2 smaller ones from which one stays for parents and a second cluster of modules can be taken by the children and installed at a new location. This house shows a typical case study for a starting family. Not big but not small either. The house has all the necessities which a family needs. The day zone in the front with the kitchen, dining and living room together in one open space. The night zone with its bedrooms on the other side of the house and behind the hygiene area with bathroom, toilet, laundry and dressing room which divides the night and day zone to give an acoustic buffer in between.
