And God remembered Noah, and every
living thing, and all the cattle that was with him in the ark: and
God made a wind to pass over the earth, and the waters assuaged;
The fountains also of the deep and
the windows of heaven were stopped, and the rain from heaven was
restrained;
And the waters returned from off the
earth continually: and after the end of the hundred and fifty days
the waters were abated.
And the ark rested in the seventh
month, on the seventeenth day of the month, upon the mountains of
Ararat.
This project "Ark" is an
architectural interpretation of Biblical history about Noah's Ark,
that we see in the architectural decision of place. It reminds a
large ship, which is searched by people already many centuries. All
buildings of this complex are parts of mysterious ship which found
the refuge on the top of Ararat mountain.
A complex consists of two levels. The
first (entrance and parking on 1000 cars) fluently spills over the
second, from which we get in basic buildings. It allows to avoid
cheerless urbanism landscape and prevents the strong heating of the
vehicles. Besides such interpretation of space creates the additional
areas of rest and ties up numerous functional wishes to the use of
this territory.
An entrance and traffic junction of the
first level can be used as the temporal (short-term) opened parking.
Further the closed (basic) place, rampants and stairs to the upper
stage, pedestrian level from which basic access will be carried out
in buildings.
Building of hotel of
"Interсontinental'"101 m height consists of 28 floors: on
the last are appartamenty president, the first class numbers,
standard rooms and numerous restaurants and bars.
Residential house (16 floors, 60 m
height) is contained by two apartments (200-220 m2 area) on every
floor. Highest stages are suites and lofts (400 m2 area). Access in
apartments is carried out from elevators by the personal cards of
access. A ground floor is technical stage with parking area. The
second resential is analogical on a height, has two entrances and
intended for placing of apartments of large area (lofts) with the
free planning scheme.
Such principle of planning will allow
to project individual apartments, not limiting fantasy of their
proprietors, and substantially will economize time of building and
handing over of him in exploitation.
Office center, trade center and
business centers have outputs in the parking area through the first
level (technical stage). The functional filling of these centers
depends on subject of business and investment attractiveness for
different trade marks. Architecture here is closely related to
franchizers and conforms to the hard requirements of franchizers and
investors. Principle of the free planning and in this case allows to
obtain the most advantageous leasings suggestions.
In this way we created the logical
model of decision of this space, having durable historical roots in
the philosophical base. Given project-conception answers
architectural requirements and corresponds functional, territorial
and geological possibilities of this place.
