ARCLINEA WITH EATALY IN ROME.“Haute cuisine” for “haute food”…The world’s biggest Eataly was inaugurated in Rome, the eternal city, on 21 June 2012. This follows triumphs in New York, perhaps the most exemplary, Turin and Genoa in Italy and others in important international capitals, following a fascinating ambitious expansion programme. Backed by the determination of its creator, Oscar Farinetti, who decided to believe, invest in and launch a unique idea that has become a successful ‘concept’: that of creating international stores that tell of Italian food and wine excellence. And as in New York (and Genoa before that), again in Rome Arclinea is behind the project for the huge “Cookery School” classroom and furnishes the two in-store areas dedicated to tasting with Vina, the wine storage unit.Collaboration between Arclinea and Eataly has been born and developed with the desire to promote and spread the notion of Made in Italy with a view to quality and according to a creative vision capable of dialoguing together with tradition and innovation, with coherence, formality and harmony.Arclinea Design Cooking School is the cookery school network that adopts Arclinea design. A true project division, this "network” stems from a desire to investigate the world that is the focal point of the "kitchen". A continually evolving world that allows Arclinea to devise unique projects, different solutions and ideas with complete programmes that meet every need, capable of communicating and spreading experience, culture and passion. The "PELLEGRINO ARTUSI” classroom, dedicated to the Eataly Roma cookery school, has been planned for practical interactive courses. It is fitted with 5 work islands designed by Arclinea that feature cutting-edge equipment and big enough for two pupils. The ‘Vina’ storage unit by Arclinea is used for the display and storage of Eataly Roma wines in• the “Ristorante Italia” on the third floor, which represents Italy in its biodiversity with a choice of 20 dishes from the different Italian regions. The restaurant houses a temporary exhibition of works by Amedeo Modigliani, lent by the foundation dedicated to this Italian painter and sculptor;• in the large “Enoteca” wine store on the second floor, the winery with over 30,000 bottles from Italy and abroad. Vina by Arclinea preserves the finest examples.
