This project is the core of the readjustment of Arai district in Sendai. Arai Design Center is used by tenants of town planning management companies in the area. Therefore, the building aims not only to be open to the area and also to become a landmark.
The building is simply made by three layers that are north wall, south wall, and interior wall. The composition of window and wall has a pattern that makes an optical illusion. Three layer patterned walls overlap each other with displacement, and the displacement incorporates air and light comfortably, and makes movement of people visualized with a dynamic and change.
