On behalf of Columbia Community Outreach, Manhatta Architecture and Construction has designed and implemented an annual park clean-up project in the Bronx. Richard Garey, R.A. teams up with volunteers from Columbia University to maintain Aqueduct Walk Park. The area work focuses on the most neglected section of the park, an approximately one mile stretch bounded by Kingsbridge Road to the north and Burnside Avenue to the south. This area bisects Fordham Center, the Bronx's central business district. Aqueduct Walk Park is a pedestrian promenade that is situated atop the Old Croton Aqueduct pipeline.
