CC APARTMENT
The intervention aims to enhance the preexisting positive structural elements that the apartment has.
The idea is to expand the space through the demolition of walls, creating completely integrated environments.
The TV room, living room, kitchen and balcony become part of a single space.
A large countertop connects the environments in a functional and aesthetic way, in addition to gaining a sense of breadth and depth.
A delicate wooden vertical brise-soleil controls the light entering the balcony.
Half of the apartment becomes a living area to receive friends and cook, and the other maintains the privacy of the rooms and office.
The separation between the social area and the intimate area is achieved by a panel of natural wood blade that covers the entire wall of the living room.
A pivot door camouflaged in this large panel is the access to the intimate area.
With a neutral color palette that makes up the floor, walls and ceiling of the apartment, the wood panel and other joinery bring warmth and refinement. The touches of color are added with some pieces of loose furniture, decorative objects and plants.
