In order to facilitate workplace change, promote greater communication, efficiency and transparency within the company, a five storey brick warehouse was converted to house open plan workstations, offices and meeting rooms over three levels, with ground and rooftop levels housing a staff cafe, multipurpose spaces and a boardroom. The four storey central atrium provides a high level of inter-relation and connectivity between these areas. A strong ESD agenda through all aspects of the project, a modest approach to materials and finishes and a clever balance between working and multi-purpose breakout and conference spaces to be used by employees and members alike, combine to create a truly open and contemporary office environment.
