Footprint Architects was commissioned to design a home for a family of three to replace their existing uninhabitable property which suffered a fire in 2012.
The private family home has been designed to provide security and a variety of safely defined outdoor living spaces through the introduction of a wrapping garden wall which links a swimming pool pavilion and double garage back to the house and garden.
A contemporary, contextual approach was achieved through the use of local materials in a traditional garden wall and pitched roof form but implementing contemporary detailing techniques.
