Aperitivo & Caffè is a place of rest and sharing inside the Shopping Centre Forum Palermo.
The design concept starts by the need to expand the supply of the former café Lavazza including an aperitif.
The project redefines the role of the large angular counter, which becomes work station and convivial time for breakfast or quick coffee.
The new angular geometry allows to distinguish a cocktail area where space furnishings are made of iron and wood, an area of chairs and tables for the slower consumption and a niches for the bottles.
The constant theme is the slatted cover in spruce, which gives rhythm to the white ceramic tile walls, while in contrast the charcoal gray tile floor emphasizes the strength of the solid line, and creates a relationship between inside and outside of the room, inviting visitors to enter.
