‘’Apartments in Thaleias’’ is a residential project in Vouliagmeni. The striking interplay that is presented between architecture and landscape is expressed through fluid, stratified façades that echo natural geological formations. The building’s layered exterior panels create a dynamic visual rhythm, with carved horizontal apertures that reveal lush interior greenery and shaded terraces. These sinuous cuts not only soften the massing but also frame curated views, allowing natural light and ventilation to permeate deep into the structure.
Set within a southern context, the architecture harmonizes with its surroundings through an integration of vegetation at every level. The planted terraces blur the boundary between indoors and outdoors, contributing to a biophilic environment that enhances comfort and wellbeing. The façade’s stone-like texture reinforces a sense of permanence, while its sculpted form introduces movement and softness.
A low perimeter wall continues the project’s signature striated language, creating privacy without compromising openness. The overall composition balances solidity with porosity, resulting in a building that feels simultaneously grounded and lightweight. Emphasizing organic geometry, natural materials, and immersive greenery, the design embodies a contemporary approach to luxurious living—one that elevates environmental integration and experiential richness as core architectural principles.
