A replacement of the old Village Community Center which comprised various functions and programs, the new building emulates this multi-functionality. Ground floor contains a pharmacy, a doctor's and a dentist's office, a post office, a bank and a florist shop. Upper floors house apartments. Thus, the building assumes a substantial central role in the village. According to morphology of the area, the building is divided into two volumes that generate an enclosed public space. Access to public programmes is arranged from the new square, while apartments above are accessed via sheltered walkways. Apartments' living areas are oriented outwards, to the east and west. Façade is divided into three segments: the "terra rossa" base with glass-clad surfaces on public side, the "stone" grid of apartment entrances and the "glazed cell structure" of apartment facades with green shutters.
