Originally built in the 1970s as a separate studio and holiday flat, Ralph Germann architectes modified the original plan to create one single space.
The client's main wish was to have a bathroom that could be opened, in a modular way, to
reveal the breathtaking view of the surrounding Alpine landscape, despite the constraints
associated with the location of the original water inlet and outlet.
Located in Crans-Montana, the design of the project MSH was strongly influenced by its
Alpine location. The architect used only light wood in the overall design of the apartment,
ash for the flooring and birch for the furniture.
As in all his recent projects, Ralph Germann architectes designed the storage units in each
room so that the furniture blends in perfectly with the original architecture of the building
and the apartment.
