This apartment is located within a new residential block in the historic centre of Moscow. Three existing apartments were retailored into one to facilitate the needs of a large family. The main task was to create a calming and warm environment, which would reflect the individuality of its inhabitants.
An antithesis of the open plan, the layout maximises the functionality of the existing space, while separating common rooms and private quarters into two distinct areas connected by a hallway.
Shades of aquamarine and oak predominate in the palette, with details in bronzed brass, fine wool textiles and natural stones creating a sense of quiet opulence.
Custom designed furniture and fittings distinguish each space, with every detail considered as part of a narrative of the object and its environment.
