The main design idea in this project was to optimize orientation and views of the sea and mountains. Exceptional care was placed upon the visual integration of the building with its surrounding urban landscape. The building develops on five levels which accommodate three independent houses, two maisonettes, and one apartment which occupies an entire floor. The main living areas are placed on the
front in a free-form plan, benefitting from the southern orientation; bedrooms are in the background, and enjoy cross-ventilation.The distribution of spaces allows the use of large openings without compromising on energy savings, since
the building aims for energy class A+.
