From the junction of two flats with small rooms, a functional apartment was designed with all environments required for the perfect operation of the intended activities by the couple, an executive and a publicist who love traveling and cooking.
The kitchen, key point of the house, receives bench U in white corian which leaks a yellow wall with a square opening that works as a serving-plate and hide the everyday sink and stove.
The dining counter in front of corian bench is in demolition wood cutted into thin strips, with chairs DSW Charles Eames white on one side and stools straw and wood Toti Bernardo Figueiredo on the other side. The main living has blue linen upholstered sofa Matris Jader Almeida with the work of Eduardo Sued, creating strong impact on the cement wall. The other sofa in truck canvas is from the Studio of Marcos Ferreira. Blue patchwork rug turns two very different sofas into a single environment.
The table, design of an Argentine friend of the client, received a bench designed by the architect. The Red Chinese furnitures are the proprietary’s passion who has these furnitures since her first apartment and would like to keep them in the living room, making the color the motto of this environment as well. The multicolored giramundo armchair Marcos Ferreira adds even more color to the environment. The lamp arc is an old flame of the client and in the home theater room the sofa is inheritance of the last apartment as well as the mobile TV and the table in demolition wood with foot of iron.
White shelves on a cement wall create the environment of the computer room, and keep saved the day to day objects of the house.
The whole washroom of cement has washbasin and countertop in wood and a corian thin box inside of the clipping of the wood, creating the sink.
The couple’s room should be more austere, quiet and without much ornamentation, where the owner could not be distracted to sleep. A sober environment with panel leather at the headboard designed by the architect and wooden floors Cumaru, complete the ambience.
The child's room is a play space with white lacquer shelves contrasting with the demolition wooden shelf and a bench for TV and video games.
