Refurbishment of a 1960s flat, designed by architect Agostinho Ferreira de Almeida, co-author of the Lionesa Silk Factory project in Leça do Balio.
One of the imperatives of this project, in addition to the spatial restructuring that would balance the service areas with the rest of the rooms, adapting the spaces to new living spaces, was the reuse of the existing stone.
We consider this an imperative, because one of the aims of rehabilitating built heritage is to make the most of what exists, optimising resources.
