This large apartment, situated in Lourdes, one of the most charming areas of Belo Horizonte, was designed to accommodate a couple with their three young children. The idea was to integrate the spaces and uses. The living room, in addition to receiving friends with elegance and comfort, is also a place to watch a movie at home that is integrated with the bar, with a large comfortable carpet and a low coffee table, giving people freedom to staying the way they prefer.
The choice of the square table in the dining room was to make the conversation all participatory in the family meals.
In the TV room, the panel in black lacquer and the black mobile were to mask the several electronics equipment of the owner and also to compose with the old General Electric refrigerator inherited from her grandmother, which was adapted for wine temperature. The black leather sofa and the option not to use a coffee table, but only support tables, was to give freedom to children.
The integration of spaces - living room, bar, dining room, TV room and balcony - bring lightness and fluidity to the space. The decor, with a mix of colors, materials, textures and style, brings the private universe of the owner, always adept of the timeless good things that always remain stylish. Blends of natural linens, leather, different shades of wood, polished marble, rustic granite, steel and acrylic. Various shades of beige, brown, and black create an ambience both modern and cozy, which is enhanced by lighting, and chandelier in the dinner area.
