The house is
located in fraccionamiento ?Los Apantles?, in Jiultepec, Morelos. The
architectural intent is to create a dwelling occupying two sides of a square lot
leaving room for a central garden with a pool.
The dwelling will
be one level and with some service areas on the upper level to generate some
vertical volumes in contrast to the horizontal nature of the house. The vehicle and pedestrian exit are in
to the rear of the house since the majority of the spaces have a view of the
main garden.
The vestibule
clearly divides the principal zones and directly connects with the
living-eating area. This has a
very large, covered terrace since it is the most-used area during the day. One of the house?s sides has the master
bedroom with a bathroom and dressing room area. The other part has two bedrooms for guests with a
dressing room and bathroom included.
The main structure
is based on bearing walls and wood beams.
The main portico has wood columns on quarried stone bases. The inside floor is made of marble with
covers s made of the same material, but in different colors. The color scheme is based on the use of
basic colors: Jacaranda-blue combined with different ochre-based tones.
