The AOSA Lair - What is it? A flexible office/fabrication/print space going into an empty warehouse in Huntington Beach, CA. It consists of a kitchenette, 1/2 bath, and a 1000sf office that opens up to the remainder of the warehouse with four giant roll-up doors. We're utilizing as much reclaimed and scrap material as possible, including: All of the baltic birch is 1'x5' trimming drop from a national wood provider. A bad lot of China Cherry plywood stained with AoSA's own used waterbased ink. Sound deadening foam salvaged from the drop at a local foam factory. Floor is all waste epoxy from a local coatings manufacturer and linoleum from the damaged/end of pallet scraps from lumber liquidators. Cabinets and kitchen sink from the ReUseIt store, toilet and sink salvaged from the remodel of a restaurant in an adjacent unit.
