Out to the Ocean and Beyond
Anuban Samutsakhon school's Motto is to Provide good preparation for the kids future and the real world. The kids of ABSK are well equipped and ready for their first Journey out to the big ocean, the real world.

Students Presentation room
The location of the school is extremely close to the ocean. This inspires us to use the uneven and organic form of the the ocean wave for the design of the sound diffusion ceiling. The Existing space was a box of concrete. The straight lines and non-sound absorbing of materials cause s extreme echoes within the space. Making it non-functional for presentation room. This echo problem is solved by using the organic form of the ocean for the ceiling. Each unit of the ocean wave were made of fiberglass and paper. The materials are very good sound absorber and the form maximise the sound diffusion factor inside the space. The uneven wooden surfaces of the walls and columns were inspired by the sound diffuser panels and wooden music instruments

School Yard
This is where the students run and sit all over the floor during their lunch break and while waiting for their parents to pick them up when school is finished. All the surface material were made by the mixture of white Terrazzo and recycled ocean plastic and recycled beer bottles. Aiming to inspire the students to protect their local environment that is the Ocean of Samut Sakon, located only 500 metre away from the school. The form of the vaulted ceiling and column details were inspired by the concrete form of postmodern thai architecture that has been spreading through out thailand especially near the center of each town.

Teacher's Meeting room and Principal Office
The Naval inspired details were also carried to the Teacher's meeting room and Principal room in a more mature approach. As the captain of the fleet, the principal is able to see the students running and playing in the school yard.
