The Annabel Resilient Homes project developed by Action Baybrook is a group of four rowhomes on contiguous vacant lots in Baltimore City. The homes are designed to be high-performance, foam-free and net zero ready using local, salvaged and biogenic materials where possible. Each home is comprised of a first-floor handicap accessible rental unit and a second and third floor three-bedroom home. This project is exploring the potential of prefabricated, panelized construction to assist in the attainable replication of this prototype on vacant lots throughout Baltimore. The project is currently in schematic design phase.
