The ANIT Corporate Headquarters emerged in response to the need of the client to have a building containing: administration, warehouse, garage and multipurpose space to host events and presentations of projects from the company. For that we worked on an old building without historical value, strategically located in the downtown of the city of San Francisco.
One of the requirements of the project was to identify with a strong institutional image of solidity, quality and contemporaneity linked to the construction industry, for that reason we recycled structurally and functionally the property, using noble materials: the common brick of the interior walls was restored, smooth cement floors were made on the entire surface, wood and glass was used in the interior partitions, corrugated iron was used for roofing and cladding of some walls, and rusty corrugated iron used to cladding of the façade.
This choice was made in honor of traditional materials and construction systems of the city and the region, adapting to the requirements and current uses.
