Angostura Mall is the first shopping centre in Ciudad Bolívar that will reach more than 50.000sqm of development, it is located in an very good landscape in front of the "Tomás Heres", the city's airport. The concept and the name are inspired on the first name of the city in the colonial years "Angostura" and the principal bridge of the city over The Orinoco River that also have the name Angostura. The architecture and line design of the mall is a tribute to the bridge and The City with a principal facade of more than 180meters long that faces the airport in a concave form that "embraces" the visitors of the city that reach the capitol of the Bolívar State in Venezuela. We have design for this principal facade an entrance that includes a void with more than 100mters long that brings natural light into the parking levels beneath and to enter the Mall a literal bridge crosses the void that represents The Angostura Bridge crossing The Orinoco River. The mall includes more than 120 stores in 2 stories, with a food court with more than 700 peolple of capacity, an small supermarket and a cinema complex with 6 projection rooms, also have 2 parking leves underground for more than 800 cars.
