This innovative composting plant is plungled in the greenery of the Apennine valley of Rio Busca. Its anaerobic fermentation process is designed to recycle organic refuse into natural fertilizer and reuse the residual gas to produce eletric energy, supplying the city of Cesena for up to 10% of its residential requirements. The south and west facades, with a height of 11 m and an overall lenght of 180, are screened by a continuous curtain of metal panels with module variations, intended to dematerialize the large built volumes amid the foliage of rambling wisterias and robinias.
