Arab Model School-AMS- is an educational institution located in Amman-Jordan since 1983. Established on a campus made of building clusters constructed over the past three decades.
BLG C is the International Program building at the campus. Following the school’s vision of an ongoing evolution toward modernization, the project aimed at renovating BLG C’s administration offices and reception area in to a more spatially interactive and new fresh environment. The design concept is to be echoed among other clusters as well, to become a state-of-the-art identity.
BLD C was founded on top of a long span free column high ceiling structure, which provided a flexibility in the new design composition. Made of free scattered low scale objects in space, with each object integrating a specific function while reflecting the school’s color schemes.
The structure also allowed bringing more natural light to the space by a newly designed thirteen-meter glass façade in breadth, creating an inside out transparency from offices to meeting room, and corridors to outdoor plaza.
This design concept creates a more exciting and liberating movement by giving the freedom to explore, express and choose for more adventurous and creative new generations.
