End Studio is a London based practice born in 2008. Conceived by a group of young architects and professionals of related fields. The New Landmark for Aldgate was an opportunity for the team to express their thirst for digital technology. Through The Amoeba proposal End Studio demonstrate how the face of the built environment is changing due to digital technologies.
All the team members who worked on the project are all equally excited about the potential growth of such a project. The team see this proposal as an appropriate landmark for Aldgate because it presents a strong architectural relationship between technology and the built environment. The proposal also aims to challenge social and economic issues within the area of Aldgate through the introduction of an innovative Landmark, which will attract and engage visitors to the area.
