Amina Rubinacci Flagship Store 02

Milano, Italy

Amina Rubinacci’s first flagship store in Milan is located in via Solferino, a prominent retail street in the heart of Brera district. Inspired by the clean elegance of her clothes, Tiar Studio designed a simple showcase for the products, including modular display units flexible enough to accommodate all types of garments produced.
The entire ceiling of the showroom is clad with triangular designed plaster elements that define and delineate the space. The ceiling conceals not only the new mechanical and electrical equipment but also the old structural elements of the building.
Viewed from the street, the three full-height shop windows present an uninterrupted view of the store, while viewed from the interior, the transparency of the display units and mannequins’ back panels create a backdrop of the cityscape.
