This photography project captures the essence of amalgamation of materials at deeply textured Amant Art Campus designed by SO – IL. From brick to metal, concrete to glass, the anonymous materials are recomposed and rearranged, making the building familiar yet distinctive.
The photography project attempts to capture this unique play of material through a multiplicity of perspectives and frames that testifies the interrelationship of them. The layers of material, from 3-dimension to 2-dimension, transform this architectural quality to photography.
The photography project also manages to capture the unique urban relationship and porosity of the Amant Art Campus by documenting the lighting atmospherically. Rather than directly depicting light and shadow, the photography project reads delicate ambient light, multiple layers of reflections and intricate interactions of colors
