Before major physical changes in the urban structure of Hamedan by Karl Frisch (before 1310) Bazar as the main part of the city and 52 neighborhoods around it formed the spatial structure of the city. But in the later period (from 1310 to 1332) with the change of the city's structure and the formation of modern urban planning, with the construction of a square next to the downtown and 6 branches from it. The structure of the city is undergoing major spatial changes. However, despite the disadvantages and disintegration of the historical body of the city and the old mental image of it, another type of perception of the city arose. The factor that we know from an urban point of view and especially urban epistemology, the city is a combination of strong elements (signs) and neutral elements, that the city of Hamedan (after 1332) can be visualized with several strong signs consisting of a central square (the core of the city) and six peripheral arms. among which the neighborhoods have expanded but what completes this recognition is a kind of powerful urban signs along each of these urban axes. Some of these landmarks are historically valuable buildings (artificial landmarks) and some are hills and geographic features of the city (natural landmarks). According to this issue, this mental image is formed that the hill itself is a heritage and a symbol of the city .As a result, the revitalization and re-creation of the main nature of the hill will be the main component in dealing with the project. In order to provide a solution for this issue, we will first take a look at the history of the hill .the hill is located in a poor neighborhood of the city and adjacent to Muzdaghina neighborhood, which has been neglected over the years, and finally, in 1382, with the construction of the Ibn Salah observatory with an area of about 800 square meters on its height, and the excavation and creation of a new central space, the morphological structure of the hill is subjected to interventions which causes the hill as a sign in the structure of the city space to lose its original nature and shape as a sign and on the other hand as an urban heritage . In this regard, the project saw the future from the point of view of re-creating and reviving the nature of the hill since 2002
