The underlying concept of the complex is "play of silhouettes", where the natural landscape is intertwined with an artificial volume created by an architect. This form is comparable to the existing landscape and the highway, which creates a certain dynamics and romanticism of the area.
When we were working with the facade, the requirement for air conditioning was taken into account. The idea of the facade "pattern" was generated, which was then transferred to its surface. Thus, we have obtained a texture that does not contradict, but emphasizes the complex silhouette.
We tried to stay away from the traditional development of neighbouring blocks, thereby emphasizing the technicality of the volume, which in turn creates a contrast between natural and artificial origin. Brushed aluminium has effectively coped with the task: due to its physical properties, it fits into the environment, forming an artistic style. As far as dwelling unit decoration is concerned, we tried to make it as comfortable as possible, since there is a direct contact between the inhabitant and the architecture. The window frames and jambs were decorated so that they look like “warm wood”. Thus, we managed to combine style and comfort, industry and nature.
