The renovation of Almas Rayan Company's administrative building on Valiasr Street reflects a thoughtful approach to both structural preservation and brand-centered design, led by Nikdel Design Studio. The project retained the core architectural framework while reimagining walls, materials, furniture, lighting, and decor to embody the company’s core values of "security" and "trust." This identity was conveyed through carefully chosen colors—blue, black, and taupe—that align with Almas Rayan’s branding.
As a leader in the IT industry, Almas Rayan sought a space that would not only showcase its technological strength but also its standing in the market. The design strategy concentrated on reinforcing these values, transforming them into a cohesive spatial experience. Security and trust are integrated not only as visual elements but as experiences that engage visitors and employees on multiple sensory levels. The guiding lines of light serve as a defining feature, starting from the street entrance and continuing through the lobby to the reception area. Designed as the primary point of contact, the reception area features blue as an accent color, setting the tone for the brand encounter.
Architectural elements inspired by technology, such as memory card slots and computer components, appear consistently throughout the counters, walls, and management areas. These elements ground the design in Almas Rayan’s field, while the minimalism of micro-cement, glass, and metal materials emphasize a modern, intelligent aesthetic.
The building’s managerial floor is divided into functional zones: "Entrance Zone," "Management," "Lounge and Relaxation," and "Monument." Instead of traditional walls, the spaces are distinguished through strategic lighting and color, underscoring an open layout that enhances vertical and horizontal continuity. In the conference room, a functional table is paired with dedicated lighting to support continuous meetings, emphasizing functionality and focus.
Central to the brand’s identity is the "Monument," a bespoke structure that symbolizes Almas Rayan’s reliability and pioneering approach. Inspired by a diamond and constructed from interlocking computer motherboards, the Monument captures a futuristic essence. Its reflective ceiling and mirrored surfaces suggest the interplay of advanced technology and visionary thinking, presenting an almost otherworldly form.
Each design aspect supports Almas Rayan’s narrative of strength and pride. Dark tones evoke stability and authority, while the interplay of sharp lines, acoustic panels, and minimalist decor establishes an image of precision. The linear lighting, along with selected materials like micro-cement, glass, and metal, reinforces Almas Rayan’s values of intelligence and expertise.
